Introducing a Biblical Worldview Math Curriculum

frustrating_mathMath seems to have a negative connotation for many. It has the reputation of being a subject to survive—a painful exercise in manipulating numbers to no apparent purpose.

Yet math is more than numbers on a piece of paper! It’s a tool given to us by God to describe His creation! In fact, the very reason we can work with numbers abstractly and then apply them to a concrete situation is because the biblical, faithful Creator God is sustaining all things in a reliable manner.

Math doesn’t have to be a dry, meaningless exercise. Instead, it can be an exciting journey of discovery—a journey that points students to the Creator.

I’m excited to be partnering with Master Books on Principles of Mathematics: Biblical Worldview Curriculum, a junior high math curriculum that teaches math concepts in connection with history, science, and real-life applications, giving students a new appreciation for math and how it points to the Creator.

Watch for more details soon. In the meantime, feel free to check out the overview video below that shows just a glimpse of how math can be seen and taught biblically.

We’d cherish your prayers as we work to finish up the curriculum…and we’d love to hear your comments in the field below!

As an extremely money-strapped homeschooling parent, I would love this but can’t afford it. Need someone to try it out and review for free?? We are THE FAMILY for you!!
